The trend for many PLR buyers is to build a new content site with the PLR articles they originally get, then forget about it and move onto the next one. Possibly after some, but very little promotion.

This method can make you money, but from my own experience the websites that make me the most money, are the ones that I continue to add content to and promote.

If you are building content sites across a number of different niches, you should monitor the sales and stats for each website, to try and identify the ones that are making you the most money, and getting the most traffic.

Setting up a new website can be a bit hit and miss. It's not always easy to know whether there's money to be made in a particular niche, or on a specific topic within that niche. Sometimes it is a case of just 'suck it and see'.

The mistake I see a lot of people make, is that they see one of their sites doing well, but their first instinct is to try and find another niche market that is as good as that one. When they haven't even tried to make the most of the one they have already found.

• If you are not already capturing email addresses and building a list on that site, get that sorted out fast. You will really boost your profits very quickly this way.
• If you are not already tracking testing your marketing in that niche, now you know the time will be well spent, so get onto it.
• You have a content site with a number of articles, check your website statistics, to see which pages are getting the lions share of the visitors. The either write more articles on those topics yourself, or pay ghost writers to write them for you.
• If you are making money just promoting products as an affiliate in that niche, you should look at creating your own products.
• Consider setting up one or more new sites to target the exact same niche. This will help you get more exposure and a bigger slice of the market you already know is profitable.
