1. Use Them As Content For Your Websites Or Blogs
This is the most common way people use private label articles. If you have an exisiting website for a particular niche, you can add PLR articles for relevant topics, to help boost the amount of content on your website. Alternatively, you can use the private label articles as your main source of content, and add other content to compliment them.
2. Compile Articles Together Into A Report That You Can Sell
If you've got a bunch of articles for a particular niche, you can go
through them and pull out all the best tips, and create a 'fluff free'
report with them that gets right to the point.
Yes, the same information might be free on some other websites, but it
takes a lot of time to go and read a few dozen articles. So to some
people, a much shorter report containing just the key points is
actually very useful, because it will save them time.
3. Compile Articles Together Into A Report, and Give It Away To Help Build Your Email List
This method is exactly the same as above. Instead of selling the report
you can offer it for free, when people join your opt-in list. Often
people need a good incentive to join your email list, and a free report
relating to their interests will usually boost your subscription rates.
TIP: To increase the 'perceived' value of your free report,
create a report/eBook cover image for it. If you don't have cover
graphic software, even just a flat report cover image will do the
trick. Amazon is a great example for this. Just check out any book
title on there, they have a flat cover image for every book.
4. Build Links and Drive Traffic To Your Site With Article Marketing
More traffic = more profit for you! A great way to get traffic is to
upload your articles to multiple article directories. Website owners
will republish your articles on their websites, giving your website
more exposure.
Underneath each article you attach an author bio/resource box with a
link back to your site. If people like your article they will click on
the link in your resource box and visit your website. As more and more
website owners publish your articles and link to your website, this
will also help you rank higher in the search engines.
TIP: Regardless of what anyone else tells you, NEVER submit a
PLR article to an article directory for publication, unless you have
substantially edited it beforehand.
5. Use PLR Articles For Newsletter Content
If you are building an opt-in email list, you obviously need something
interesting/useful to send to your subscribers. You can't just send
people ads and promotions, because they will just stop reading or
unsubscribe.
Private label articles are a great solution to this. You can break
them up into smaller tips, or publish them as they are. Both options
will provide you with useful content for your email newsletter.
If you can, try to match up the content of the PLR article with the
product you are promoting in the same email. This will make the content
more relevant, and should increase your click throughs and sales.
6. Create Downloadable MP3 Audio Recordings
Don't think you have to use PLR articles just in text form. You could
read out the article yourself, and record the same content in audio
format. People like to listen to audio recording on their MP3 players,
or burn it to CD and listen in their car on the way to work etc.
You could use the audio version of the content as another incentive
to subscribe to your opt-in list, or maybe offer it as a bonus for a
related product your are selling/promoting.
7. Create Podcasts
Podcasts have become extremely popular. If you create audio versions of
your PLR articles, you could create a podcast, and make it available on
podcast directories like iTunes. This is a great way of getting more
exposure and traffic for your website.
8. Create And Sell Physical Prodcts from Your PLR Articles
Physical roducts usually have a higher perceived value than the same
product in digital format. You could publish the reports and audio
recordings as physical books and CD's. Services like CafePress make it really easy to create small quantities of physical ebooks and CD's.
